New Aldi vegan and vegetarian line

I just got back from a trip to Aldi and picked up their flyer for next week's deals. They have some fitness products listed for the new year, but I am more excited to see their expansion of vegan and vegetarian items. They will now carry meatless meatballs, hot dogs, Italian sausage, chicken patties and chicken tenders. There are more varieties of veggie burgers including Asian and Thai veggie burgers, southwest quinoa crunch veggie burgers, soy protein burgers and also vegan cheese shreds. I don't think this is a limited find special, but something they will always carry. Yay!

Thanks for letting us know about this. Aldi's is my closest and favorite grocery store. Their prices can't be beat. My husband is veggie so I'm excited to see the new things they offer

Thanks for posting! I still have not checked out new Aldi yet. We usually receive the flyers in the mail on Thursdays.

Nice! It's so nice to see more grocery stores going healthier, vegan, organic, etc. I will have to make a trip to Aldi's!

I saw those and was mildly tempted. My ALDI is a dump, though, and usually does not have any of the healthy advertised goods.

I question how much gluten is in them, though. A lot of those products get their protein and binders from wheat.

I think they are probably knock offs of Trader Joe's "Cowboy" veggie burgers and "Thai" veggie burgers. I just bought some last night. I'll have to compare the price and ingredients.

I'm super excited about this!

I've tried the Kale Quinoa burger (I can't remember the price anymore, but it was cheaper than other brands) and liked it ok. I think they also have 'chicken' nuggets, but I haven't tried them yet. I'm just stoked that the offers for vegan items is expanding!

Their soy milk is non-GMO and organic and much cheaper than elsewhere!
