Good Metabolic Workouts?

I was reading thru past threads that I posted asking questions and i saw a thread where someone posted something from Cathe...of Cathe F's Forum...where she says that if you have a good muscle base, but you have a LARGE layer of fat covering it (ME), it is best to (eat clean) do 5 metabolic workouts a week and 3 heavier weight workouts in an 8 day period.

Well....I am fine with this, as I love weight lifting....and don't like plain cardio....so once I'm done with my rotation I'm on, I'll give this a try, but can we please name some Metabolic Workouts Here?:

Thanks in advance.

Spartacus, MH60, Deltafit Speed Shred would all be considered metabolic conditioning workouts.

Mike Donavanik's workouts also fit the bill.

Cathe's Crossfire and To the Max are a couple of her met con workouts. Quite a few of her recent offerings would also qualify.

Lindi Sanor's Ultimatum Set

Bob Harper's Ultimate Cardio Body; Body Rev Cardio Conditioning; Pure Burn Super Strength

Patrick Goudeau's Lean Hot Body

Mike Donavanik"s Extreme Burn Metabolic Conditioning

Amy Dixon and Paul Katami's Double Down

Michelle Dozois' Cardio Strength workouts

There is some debate on what a true "metabolic workout" is so you may get a variety of suggestions.

lesia made this Cathe rotation of workouts she considered metabolic. I agree w/ the choices but like Tugger said, it may depend how you define it.

Tracey Staehle Total Body Bootcamp Metabolic Conditioning
Tracey Staehle Total Body Bootcamp Strength - don't really know if this is considered metabolic, but it pairs nicely with her first workout. It's been awhile since I've done it.

I found Cathe's post. For someone like me, who would like to reduce muscle "bulk" I wonder if it would be counter-productive to do the metabolic workouts and the 3 heavy strength days she suggests. I wonder also about burnout especially if you are trying to go all out during the metabolic workouts. Maybe alternating the metabolic workouts with some sort of combination of barre, steady state cardio, or a total body endurance weight workout instead (???)

I think a lot of KB workouts would be considered metabolic. Zuzka is metabolic, FIF, Paul Katami can be.

In addition to those already named:

Any of the Michelle Dozois Peak Fit Cardio Strength workouts (more, remix, the 2 from the original set) plus I imagine Fat Blaster although I don't have it

Also, if you want all Low Impact - Cathe AfterBurn from the LIS set
