I’m not even sure how it used to work. I think if you had friend that had it you could message them. I can’t remember if it had a visual element. But when you say the letters it’s like I seek you

It was a chat app that let you have all your accounts in one little window on your computer screen so you didn't have to have everything running separately, like AOL, Yahoo, etc. It still exists, but as chat "room" app similar to Slack or Zoom Rooms for groups.
