Man, I have not thought about ICQ in years. I use to be active on it.
I think now that Snapchat, Facebook messenger and Instagram messenger are around, people don't use it like they use to.

with the others you have to give your phone number or be friends on FB right?

There's a blast from the past! We used to use it at work because you could aggregate all the different chat clients people had, like Yahoo, AOL, etc. until companies started blocking them. Now everyone seems to use Slack for group chats.

This brings back fond memories. My husband and I met each other on this site in July, 2002. By June 24, 2003, we were married. He came down to St. Louis from Canada to be with me.

I’m not even sure how it used to work. I think if you had friend that had it you could message them. I can’t remember if it had a visual element. But when you say the letters it’s like I seek you
