Just email customer service that you want to activate a gift card on your current account and they will apply it correctly for you. That's what they did for me a while back.

I would like to take advantage of the sale, but as usual, am tech-challenged.

Where do you guys stream from - laptops, or do you connect directly into TVs somehow? Like all videophiles I'm addicted to viewing from my large screen TV but I suppose I could use my husband's laptop if necessary. At least it's portable..

I stream from my iPad to my TV with a lightning adapter cable and a HDMI cable (I think that's what it's called). I used to use an Apple TV device, but it was awfully buggy. The cable solved all those problems. I can also stream from my laptop to my newer smart TV but I don't do that often (smart TV is in the living room, not my workout room). It seemed to work well the one time I did do it.

It should be easy. If the laptop and the TV have HDMI, you can use a HDMI to HDMI cable:

If one device does not have HDMI, then there are other types of cable connections to use, like HDMI to component:

I stream from my phone and Chromecast it to my television.
