If it was an expensive set, I might think twice about it but I'm happy with the purchase. I have had numerous DVD-r programs over the years and never had any trouble with any them. I hope it stays that way but even if it doesn't, I usually get enough use out of most of my fitness dvds that I wouldn't be devastated. In my head, I would just write it off as a fitness class fee (a cheap class is often $10 for that single time!). Even with shipping, these are only $14.50 each so I'm happy to support this instructor's work. Hopefully she will invest in pressed dvds in the future if these are successful. The instructor may not have been aware that this might be a problem with customers.

I won't get a chance to get to the other program until Friday. Looking forward to hearing other opinions

ETA: Wonder if there is any possibility that Mary will get pressed versions? She usually lists dvd-r since she knows our crowd but I didn't see it on the preorder page earlier.

DVD-r doesn't bother me because I always make a back up copy of the disc and I also make a MP4 video file which is my preferred media.

It's really expensive for these new or lesser known fitness instructors to invest in pressed DVDs where there is usually a large minimum quantity order required. There is no guarantee that the instructor will be able to sell everything. I agree with Taiga that $14.50 a DVD is not a lot to pay especially if the workout is good. Think about what some of the streaming services charge for a month's rental of one their workouts.

I hope Mary has asked about whether the DVDs will be pressed or not.

I did Grace this morning. Overall I liked it. Taiga pretty much posted the exercises covered. So I will just post my overall impression. I liked the instructor and the set was fine. The music was non descript not anything like the music in the clips on youtube. That was disappointing to me. I love the original clip and the one with Whitney. I think that because of that the DVD lacked the energy of those clips.
I found the warm up too long but maybe that was just because I was anxious to get to the workout and next time I will know when it will end.
The workout itself went by quickly and tho it is not as challenging as P 57 it reminded me of it especially with the legs and glutes sections. Slower paced for sure and not so many reps.
First time with Grace so overall nice workout but lacking the upbeat feeling of the clips. That I have to say was disappointing.

Yep, I'm one of those that DVD-r = deal breaker. I've had too many DVD-r's go bad.

I tried Fit through Kineticflix and loved it, so, although I usually will not buy dvd-r's, I made an exception with these and bought them at Mary's last sale. I've now also done Grace and also love it.

I like the instructor a lot. And I like that the exercises are not absolute killer so that I'd dread doing them again, but instead are just the right amount and intensity - I'd say advanced beginner - intermediate. I'm looking forward to doing them again.

Thank you so much for your feedback Karen, I really appreciate it! They go back to my wish list them, I'll probably wait for the next Mary's sale.

I have them and love them....and until I read this thread didn't realize they were DVD R....i only use them by doing segments as doing the entire DVD is too much for my level....love the slide portions.

Ha! This morning, I did Fit and, after it didn't seem very familiar, I checked my calendar (that I keep a record of what workouts I do each day), and I've apparently done Fit only once ( today) and I've done Grace twice (once through Kineticflix). So I actually hadn't done both of them before but now I have and I can truthfully say that I do indeed love them both!

I am planning to do both of these again soon.
