I use it for everything....yoga, Essentrics, barre, cardio, strength. I don’t do step but I do all my cardio and strength work barefoot, including weights & kettlebells. I don’t lift heavy though, my weight workouts are low weight high rep.

What's the benefit of a round mat over a 6' square? I think a circle would bother me but not sure why I think that. I love my big square mat.

Probably no advantage, lol. I’m sure a square mat would be great too.

I actually bought 2 mandula round mats when they were on sale as seconds and I don't see anything wrong, I think they said the color wasn't right. They look purple to me. I have one upstairs and one downstairs. I love it because I don't have to keep turning the rectangular mat around anymore. I can move in any direction and still be on the mat.

Jessica Smith, I believe uses a square mat in one of her workouts and it looks just as nice and big.

When I got my round mat, I had it in my bedroom in the only free space on the floor. Literally not enough room for those corners, LOL!!

I measured to be sure before I bought it.

Oh I could see that being an issue. I hadn't thought of that!
