I did the lower body segment this morning. Maybe 10 minutes long. (There is also a thigh/quad segment. The same?) I knew I was tight in my thighs and quads and it did work those areas. Ouch! I plan to do it a few times a week, in addition to stretching.

After using the DVD a couple times, it wouldn't be necessary to use the DVD, but the encouragement of doing it with someone else could help. Glad I got the DVD!

I bought Karen Voight Sleek Physique from Goodwill. It seems there are Yoga, Strength, Abs and Low Impact Cardio workouts on this dvd.

I just read reviews of the dvd here at VF. I'm not sure I"ll be keeping it. It definitely sounded better from the description on the back!

I saw quite a few workout dvds at this Goodwill. There were a few Firms, a Denise Austin, some Gaim Pilates, a few 10 MS, and Jillian Michaels.

Sherry, I enjoy Sleek Physique. I have always been a big fan of Karen Voight. I hope you like it!

Thanks Vannie! I did a preview of it and it looks like something I will keep. It’s just my level. I’ve had to do less intense workouts lately, I don’t recover like I used to. I’ll have to check out her other workouts.

Two vintage w/o

I found "Kick Butt-Push Pull & Steamin' Cardio" ( with Kimberley Spreen and Heidi Tanner) and Fitprime "Lean" (with Keli Roberts). Both of these are pretty rare to find, so if I don't like them I'll sell them at Ebay.

Anyone have any opinions on these two?

Thanks!

I liked all of them. Lean is good for when you want to do something, but not sure what and want to get the body moving. It's not too challenging on the mind. Good for when you are in a crummy mood. At least it is for me haha! And I love the other two because of Heidi Tanner.

also love Lean, similar to bubbles not super hard only around 40 minutes good for those days when you want to workout but not too hard. Push-pull is also one I like. Steamin' Cardio I've sold, re-purchased then got rid of. Love Kelsie but not this workout for some reason but that said I'm sure I'd buy it (again) if I found it at thrift store.

So before the shelter-in-place began, we got new carpet and I did a major house clean/purge while everything was displaced. This included a full paper grocery bag of exercise DVDs. Maybe 30 DVDs.

Today I went in the thrift store and saw 7 of them on the shelf. $1 each.

I came home with 6 of them.
