Catching weights?

I went to the feed store today to get a 28 lb. bag of Chicken Soup dog food. I don’t have any problems carrying the bags, so I don’t make the guys carry them to my Jeep. I just stand at the end of the dock and raise my hands up and say, “I can carry it.” I did that today and the young guy with the bag of food literally threw the dog food at me! I was surprised but I managed to catch it without falling down or even staggering around. I sure wasn’t expecting that, though. 😂

Good for you!

But sheesh, that fool could hurt someone.

I'd have to sidestep that myself.

You must've looked like you could handle it! (That's how I'd take it!)

Yeah, I'd take it as a compliment too, although an unwise decision on the part of the thrower.

A couple of weeks ago I picked up a pair of 8 pound dumbbells from UPS (sometimes I have packages sent there because they tend to get delivered to the wrong townhouse in my neighborhood). Anyway, the young whippersnapper asked me if I needed help carrying them to my car.
