Not necessarily - we've also been begging for new music and a walk with an outdoor setting and that hasn't happened, either.

Leslie has added in some new music as well as using old in most of her releases. It's just not ALL new music. She does overuse some stuff (notably the "Everybody" song. Bleh.)

I tend to really like her older workouts, an her newer workouts not so much the stuff in the middle... I have gotten rid of most of that. I think her music choices have improved in the past couple of years for sure.

I really like the music in Weight Loss Walk and some of the stuff in the WATP Express series (apart from "Walk...Power Walk"

) The stuff from WATP for Abs is kind of bland but tolerable. The elevator muzak from the older workouts and the grating techno in the more recent "bat cave" videos is the worst, IMO. Music is such a big motivator, as is an attractive setting. Oh well...I've saved a lot of money by her continuing to put out the same dvd over and over again.

Could instructors use the workout music from Dynamix, Power Music or Yes! Music? They have excellent workout music. I love the music we use in ramping class - we always have several people singing along and luckily for me, the instructor likes "oldies", so we have some good 50's, 60's and 70's stuff. It energizes me and makes the time fly by, too.

Maybe Leslie is a bit intimidated by MaryKay? that she might steal her thunder? ~LOL~ I'm really not serious but I truly think MaryKay is just as good an instructor as Leslie is,I love them both
