well I'm not as close as I'd like to be. about 40 minutes.. that's not long.. Bathing suit would still be wet when I got home.

Ya, I only got to stay a few hours. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

Lynn, power going out is no fun. But I grew up in NJ and loved thunderstorms in the summer. Now, on the CA central coast, it never rains at all in the summer; and lightning (which is rare) is not the dramatic jagged kind, just kind of a sheet flash.

Both Cheryls, WTG on listening to your body.

Linda, great to see you back in action.

Diana, I experience exhaustion just reading about how busy you are.

Satisfied with it.

30 minute 1 mile walk on treadmill. (after I moved the dust lol

30 Minutes of Stretch and Mobility with Annette Fletcher.

Felt like i was in rehab

Don't hit it too hard cause that also causes depression. It's like telling your body, I"m doing theist you cause you were bad yesterday.

Today I did two short upper body strength workouts from Fitness Blender, and DH and I painted the deck. Lots of crouching involved with that as I had to do all the edging. It looks good!

Cheryl 2, how nice that you live relatively close to the water. It's a great time of year to go!

Cynthia, when I lived in SoCal we hardly ever had thunder or lightning at all. Just the occasional rain. I missed the excitement of storms with all the boringly perfect weather, lol.

Lynn, maybe men feel that Tai Chi is more masculine than yoga?

I'm intrigued that men, in Lynn's locale anyway, take tai chi. Decades ago, I took a tai chi course at the community college near where I worked. I did it for the exercise but did wonder if I'd meet a man; nope, class was all women.

I have a late afternoon chiropractor appt and after that I'm treating myself to dinner at the Beach House, where their early bird dinner is for locals. Haven't been there in a couple of years. Then church choir practice, which is starting up again tonight.

LOL I tend to be very consistent in what I do. LOL I don't get bored very easily. But I am in check-in's on another forum, so I just copy and paste. Same goes with my food. I eat the same thing, every day for breakfast and lunch. Did I mention that I don't get bored? LOL
