Leah Sarago - New Bariatric Fitness

Leah has put out a new series specifically for people who have had bariatric surgery, are going to, or those with limited movement. I haven't seen any of the videos, but I wanted to put it out there in case anyone was interested, or if they knew anyone who might benefit from it. It looks like there might be support forums and references on the site, too.

I think it's a cool, unique idea.

I'm tempted but I won't pay $99 for downloads. Maybe if they had DVDs, but it looks like those are still in the works.

I don't think there's enough content for the price. I'm tempted too but I'm not overweight or a newbie exerciser, so I think they would generally be too easy, even though there's a lot in there that I like.

I wish she had some easier material like this for the rest of us. I used to do Ballet Body but I allowed myself to get out of top shape, and I'm struggling a bit to just stay consistent with daily exercise due to some life changes - starting a full-time job, moving to a new house, teenage kids, and menopause which is interfering with sleep big time.

Yes, it is kind of pricey. I'm going to count on my VF friends to alert me if she has a sale sometime.

Is the code still active? Where do we get it?

I love her premise of sequencing exercises to help people move with less pain! I agree it's a bit pricey. Would love to try it out for a little less.

I saw a link for a dvd bundle beside the streaming/download link, looks like they are available. I agree it’s a bit pricey.

I have a friend who had bariatric surgery 18 months ago. She has lost the weight but never did the recommended exercise. Her mobility has improved a lot with the weight loss, but she’s had major muscle wasting from not doing any resistance work. I’d love to suggest this to her as it looks like a great program & Leah’s a good instructor, but she’s very sensitive about anyone giving her fitness advice, sigh.
