Suggest a yoga mat

I want to buy my DIL a yoga mat for her birthday. I have a manduka that I am happy with but can’t find it on amazon. Looking for a thicker mat with good gripping and cushioning. She has a bunch of thin cheap mats and I want to get her a quality one.

I saw one at Target that looked nice but I'm not sure what brand it was. Maybe Gaiam? It felt nice and thick but I don't remember how grippy it felt.

I have two of these mats and they have held up really well. I ordered through Amazon.

I'm really spoiled with my round mat. Would that be an option? I use it for so much more than yoga.

I have a Manduka as well that has held up well. It is 5 mm thickness and is 7 lbs. I bought it on Amazon in 2015 and it still looks new. Unfortunately, it looks like Amazon doesn't sell it anymore.

Manduka does sell it on their website though. Here's a link https://www.manduka.com/products/eko...31880163000378

I really like Manduka too. I have a couple of Gaiam mats. They’re thick enough but don’t have quite the grip that Manduka has. The price difference is very substantial though, so for the price I think they’re a good alternative. I have heard people rave about Jade also but I never had one of those.

I have the Manduka Prolite Irregular 4.7 mm thick which works ok on carpet. I like it for my regular daily exercise.

My boot camp classes I use Lole which is a wee bit thicker. I got it from Costco. I like the straps/handle so it's portable. The Manduka is longer so I prefer it for daily use.

I have this one, or one very similar, and I really like it! It's cushy and more sticky than my cheaper mats were.
