Hi everyone - just popping in with a hello. Not handling the heatwave and I have no desire to do anything but a little PT and a lot of inverting. I stay in our air conditioned bedroom and emerge during TV commercials to wash a couple dishes, etc. We hardly ever have takeout but I've been taking advantage of curbside pickup for Panera salads and a local Mediterranean joint with healthy options. The $$ is so worth it.

Pam it's good to know you kept your Winsor workouts. I hope you find time to get around to some of them. I'm jealous of your cove walk.

Cyana, a Nordic Trac!!! I remember that infomercial from way way back. It looks so fun. I love quinoa but not the rinsing and soaking process, so I wait for an already rinsed and sprouted brand to go on sale and stock up. It is TruRoots Organic Sprouted Quinoa.

Sherry thank you for the quinoa links. I always forget about Detoxinista. They look yum-o.

Greetings to anyone who pops in to visit today. Stay everyone.

Today:
Nordic Track cardio/weight circuits - biceps and triceps - 4 sets of 12 reps of each
10 minutes of stretching

Pam - I've become quite fond of Adam's practices on MFML. You know I have a major aversion to Death by Sun Salutation, and he hasn't killed my wrists yet. I saw in Kat's weekly email that there's a new audio practice from Joo. I've also been yearning for Clive's Hands Free Flow. I feel like such a MFML groupie!

Pat - I just happen to have 2 bags of TruRoots quinoa. It was so many years ago when I got my Nordic Track - you'd call a toll free number and they'd send you a VHS tape to watch. Then you packed it up and mailed it back so they could send it to the next interested person. Never regretted that purchase for one minute even though it was a big purchase at the time.

Sherry - I saw some of your posts on G.D. - you've been busy finding more YT work-outs. Hopefully I'll find time to check some of those out soon.

Waves to ALL!

Good morning from sweltering NE. I need a dripping face emoji. Last night featured:

~ MR Beauty the Bone workout 1-A (upper body)
~ A little PT
~ 15 bridges
~ Inversion

In line with the Cyana crunches I'm going to add butt bridges and in my dreams work up to 50.

Cyana - a woman at the law firm I used to work at loaned me that VHS. I remember all the models including the top of the line - Executive? That showed a power suit type guy using a sleek wooden model in his corner office with leather furniture and dark wood paneling. Super expensive naturally. I think it was late 1980s.

Good morning Pam and anyone who visits.

Today’s offerings:
~Ellen’s Power Express
~Cardio: 15 min gliding & 15 min rebounding
~Practiced Essentrics on zoom with my study group
~MFML: Re-Ground - a lovely 36 min slow flow class with Adam

Pat - The heat can sure be oppressive! We’ve had lovely warm weather, hot for us really, mid to high 80s, but not humid.

Cyana - I remember renting a lot of movies on vhs tapes back in the day. So cool that you’re still using your Nordic Track, it must be a quality piece of equipment! So many things aren’t built to last these days.

I’ve been thinking about Margo & hope she is okay.

Waves to all!

Oh we're having a blessed bit of relief today. I'll take it! Last night I finished workout 1 from MR's Beauty to the Bone, abs and lower body. I wore my hip circle for everything except inner thighs. In between each series I stopped the video and did a series of butterfly, hamstring stretches, reclining pigeon and happy baby.

And joyfully inverted after it. It felt good to get all the prana draining out of my lower body after the abuse. I had planned a walking workout but it didn't happen.

Pam - I also hope Margot is okay. She's such a busy bee!

Happy Wednesday everyone.

Good morning! Wow, we're closing out August already.

I dusted off an old RaviAna, Bliss Hips, and did the warmups and hip opening set followed by inversion. It really helped with the DOMS and I'm feeling ready to set my muscles back on fire.

I started our check in for August:
