I agree about strengthening the posterior chain! Also, about Strong Knees.

Margaret Richards' Getting Better has many of the exercise recommended by physical therapists. Her floor work, especially with the thigh weights is killer. I've worked up to using 5 lbs per leg. There is a kneeling section for hamstrings but I do that standing up. One could do it over a resistance ball.

Also, gentle foam rolling helps with leg flexibility. (I use a soft foam roller, not one of those killer ones.)

All these ladies have typed these things so I didn't have to Just adding my vote to all these points mentioned. I'll add a few more things:

Tonique - any tonique that has lots of lunges and squats. Oh, I guess that would be all of them. Once or twice a week, not even full length (I really like her shorter ones)

This book: Ready to RUn.

In addition to all the above, this book was a turning point for me with his mobility exercises and strange voodoo floss technique (google it). I'm adding more and more running intervals to my routine, and it feels more comfortable than it has in over five years.

Darn you, Sophie!!!! I went to the link to look at that book and saw a coupon code for buying a book on Amazon.
