Today I did Flat Belly Barre, Classic Barre. I miss doing Barre but my priorities have changed. Trying to build more muscle is my thing now. For another month anyway.

Cheryl, I hope you're feeling better. I've never been to my SO's house. I know he's in the country like me but he's closer to town. It's a college town. My ortho surgeon's kids went to school there 20 years ago.

Surgery is scheduled for Nov. 30, two days before my SO's vacation starts. Not sure how I'll get to surgery and back home or if someone will stay with me. I will NOT hire that agency again. Those people stole from me and I had to call the sheriff on one of them after the hip replacement. I'll sit in a chair and not move for 2 days if I have to. Already sad that I won't be able to pick up Meow for 6 weeks or more.

Today I did Heather Robertson's Full Body Strength Workout With Dumbbells. She just put this one up a few weeks ago. I like that she did not do compound moves but divided the workout into sections. Her vibe is perfect for me right now, during COVID and all. Also walked outdoors.

Linda, I get you on building strength when you know you won't be able to exercise for a while. This too shall pass and you'll get to pick up Meow Meow again! I hope you can find someone good to help transport you for the surgery.

Diana, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. That must be very strange. Will you go to the funeral?

Hi Everyone!

Thank you about my Uncle. It's just weird.

Check-In: 45 minute outdoor walk

I am thinking about going back to the gym for strength training. Of course I can use it for cardio, too. I can even see if I like a class. I have two options. I can use my insurance card and I will probably stick to the gym that's between my house and church. The other option is the senior center. The senior center is between my house and our shop. I don't go that way very often. They have a swim pool, which has limited use. You can reserve it and only you will use it for 45 minute. You turn the jets on and swim against the water. Both has pros and cons. Senior center is 1/3 of the cost but is only open 5 days a week, I believe and I don't go that way. The gym is always open and is in the direction where I usually go to church, grocery store, etc. Basically more convenient. I stopped by the gym today and had the rep show me the strength equipment.

I am really enjoying walking outside, too. It helps mentally, I think.

Maybe my sinuses aren't trying to kill me, but they're dragging me down. Went to bed early last night and slept 12 hours. Called off my singing lesson b/c that takes more energy than I have today.

Another rest day and early night.
