Who uses Tony Horton WOs?

I was given quite a few BB Tony Horton workouts. Most are still sealed.

P90
P90 Ab Ripper 200
10 Min Trainer
Power Half Hour -5 dvds.
Power 90 Master Series - 6 dvds.
P90X - 2 add on dvds.
Ho'Alake Kino

In all about 18 dvds. Some with multiple routines.

I've never really paid much attention to his workouts, but now that I was given so many, I thought it might with worth a try.

Thoughts...opinions?

TIA ~

hi tina -

most used:
p90 Masters - short workouts and all you need are dumbbells
PHH - 30 min is great; mine are all on 1 DVD

Thanks Jeannine,

Those are the sets that interested me most. I have yet to get into a good routine again. But I'm chipping away at it.

My husband had to have his second knee replacement opened back up due to stitches not wanting to dissolve so it's been quite the ride since Feb. But we finished my workout room, so I'm thrilled to get moving again.

No.. I haven't tried 3X3 Fit yet. Might have been my first impulse buy in quite some time. Not sure when I'll get to it since I have all these Tony WOs to try as well.

Thanks again for the help.

Tony has some great workouts. That being said, you will learn to love the "Less Tony" option!

ETA: I don't think that option started until P90X. Too bad.

Wow!! You scored a Tony jackpot.

I have Power 90 Master Plyo Legs and your legs and butt will be FRIED when you get done. The only P90Master I kept. Fantastic!

I love any/all of the P90x workouts. Not sure which add-on you are referring to, but I find the whole set tons of fun, challenging and great workouts.
Tony can be a bit much, but I happen to really like him and his goofy humor.

Power Half Hours are excellent if you're short on time. A step down from P90x which I would have to say is the most advanced out of all that you listed.

Have fun!!!!

Tony is a bit much for me and I don't do his workouts because of this. I have P90Masters Legs and Core Cardio. I want to do them but I will have to see if Tony can be turned off.

You did score a jackpot. Was someone giving them away? Lucky you, I don't come across jackpots like that.

Thanks for all the input. And yes, a friend was cleaning out their home and came across them. Had been sitting around for years and knew I worked out at home. It was a great gift indeed.

I have the Ho'Alake Kino workout (along with a bunch of the others you listed). This one is very different. It's sort of yoga, sort of gentle movement. It's filmed on the beach and the setting is beautiful.

It's not really strenuous, but nice if you just want to move a little bit. I believe Tony is more subdued in this one. I don't think it's too long, around 30 minutes or maybe shorter. Can't really remember now.

I like the original P90, and Power Half Hour.
Vidiot tip: You can get information including length of workout for every Beachbody workout at beachbodyondemand.com. You can't play the videos without a (paid) login, and some of the program materials (not all) are also locked, but the workout lists with descriptions are all open to everyone.
