Me, too. I don't remember how long it took me to get through it all, but I just did as much as I could, every single weekday, and eventually I made it through the whole thing, and I kept doing it every single weekday..... until volume 2 came out!!

As for catch phrases, the part that always got me giggling was the "in.... and out..... and in..... and out."

Yes I remember this one as well as the "it's better than dieting".

Vol. 1 was a game changer. Millions of vidiots were born of this workout, me included.

I still have this tape as well as all the other clamshell VHS tapes and can't part with them even though I haven't owned VHS tape player in years.
This is me also. I was using Jane Fonda and Joanie Greggains LPs prior to the Firm, but I can honestly say that The Firm Vol. 1 changed my life. I ordered it immediately too, and it inspired me to workout consistently from the day I received it. I still have it and all the other clamshell tapes.

So true! I guess Jane Fonda had been around for a while but the FIRM was scientific and covered every angle of fitness! AND was advertised on TV! I first heard about it on the Gilad daily show they had back then.

It is a good, tough (long) workout...but it's still not my jam. I can't get past the breathy voice (maybe she's just out of breath, but it sounds "come hither"...)

And I'm 100% in the "wear a bra, especially on tv" camp. So...just no.
