Donna, I used to be able to do Leslie whenever but that's definitely no longer true. I'm hoping maybe after a lengthy break my hip will let me do them once in a while. At least the 2-mile videos.

Lynne, those are all good workouts and that rotation sounds great! Enjoy!

I started doing the FIRM again on July 1st after not doing them in 14 years!! Since July 1st I have been in the best shape. I love the FIRM so much (classic) that in a month and a half I have spent about $250 trying to acquire all the workouts that I didn't have previously including the Transfirmer step and videos. I only own 2 Pink firms but don't like those so much....maybe I will eventually. I am only buying the classic firms pre-Transfirmer.

I dusted off my fanny lifter and dumbells. I feel amazing. Lastly, I am checking off all the FIRM videos that I have purchased and still need to purchase (won't stop until I own all of them ever made pre-2005). There is something magical about the dated outfits and statues and mansion/library set. It puts a lot of modern people off but hey..more for me!

Totally agree! I'm having the same experience - except I already had most of the FIRMs I would ever want. I am in the best shape after a couple of months of mainly the older FIRMs and walking outside.

I agree as well. I am alternating Firms with Tracie Long workouts for strength/AWT and doing whatever cardio I want inbetween, often Cathe live or Firm cardio and am feeling fantastic, challenged but not run down or too sore. I am really pushing my weights to the edge of what i can handle like I used to do when doing the Firm years ago. I am also sticking to the older Firms. I never clicked with the pink ones.

I want to add back in FIRMs starting in September. I keep thinking about them but need to figure how to make them 30-40 minutes due to workout time in the morning.

Figure every other day and the other days do cardio of some sort.

Firm 3 in 1 Bootcamp (a collection of old Firms) have 2 40 minute workouts on them. Many of the BSS1-era firms (original fanny lifter videos) are 30-40 min. long Body Sculpt Blaster, Super cardio sculpt, etc.

Love reading all these posts, congratulations everyone!
Though I am currently really enjoying the 'just-right' feel of Gilad's workouts, I will never get rid of my extensive classic Firm collection and am hopeful about a possible winter rotation using them.

I don't have many Firms but I have been known to skip the abs and cardio segments from the Cross Trainer Strength and Cardio set. Only because the cardio segments are already on one of the parts DVDs that I have.

Today I did Jari Love Ripped but just the lower body chapters, I actually really liked splitting it like this, I will do the upper chapters tomorrow. This is an all time favorite of mine but I don't do it often because of the length. I think I will be doing this often as a split.

While I don't mind a couple of the Pink Firms, I do agree they aren't as good as the older Firms. I was going to do Total Body Toner this morning and took it out of the player because I wasn't in the mood for it. Then I decided to do Ripped instead.

I think I still like some of the pink FIRMs because they're shorter and not as hard. If you make a rotation of ALL FIRM eras, FitPrimes, Kick Butt!s, mixed in with Jari and Tracie Long, you'd really hit a lot of different types of workouts. Sprinkle that with some pure cardio days and some yoga, and I'd say you had a perfect workout plan, personally.

I still enjoy the original Ripped, it's a classic imo.
