Looking to purge not trade DVD's need suggestions

I have one too many DVD's (hate to admit some are opened and never used) and I would like to get rid of them but not trade them. I would prefer not to do the whole Ebay thing - any suggestions?

amazon.com trade-in credit!

see if you can do the amazon.com trade-in credit thing. You print a pre-paid postage label and send them in your own envelope/box and in about a week you get gift card balance for amazon.com. They have to be titles they are currently looking for and range anywhere between 0.50-$12.00 in trade in credit. Look on the home page for the info.

Are you saying you want to sell them? Amazon is easy. Or you could donate them, or offer them up free here. (Oops, posting while glamgal was!)

Amazon is easy to use for selling but be prepared it might take them a while to sell.

I'm glad someone brought this up because I've been looking to purge lately too but I am dreading going the Ebay route. Ever since Ebay changed their policies I had a few negative experiences with selling items there. I think Amazon looks like it might be more simplistic and hassle-free.

Another worthwhile alternative to Goodwill & libraries is an organization called DVDs4Vets. They distribute all donated dvds to veterans hospitals & veterans outreach center for veterans to use free of charge. They accept fitness dvds as well as 'regular' movie/TV ones.
