Anyone Still Doing Body for Life?

I tried an upper body routine this morning that was in the last issue of Prevention magazine. It didn't seem like 'enough' so I added some exercises of my own.

Working out on my own without a DVD reminded me of BFL, and I remember that I was able to lift heavier than I had ever lifted before with that program -- and I wondered if I should give it another shot. I pulled out the book and will take a look at it tonight.

Anyone doing BFL?

Joni,
I did a BFL rotation last year. I only did the weight workouts and subbed running for the cardio.

I had really good results. I lost bodyfat and a little weight plus I was lifting pretty heavy by the end of the challenge. I also liked how time efficient these workouts were (and I even added some extra leg exercises on leg day!)

I was on CatheNation last night and someone posted their great results from Body for Life's 12 week program.

I saw this book in the library and thumbed through it and then saw a copy at Goodwill so I feel like its following me around.

That was Gayle that had awesome, awesome results! I was in the BFL check in with her last year and she was such an inspiration (plus she's super nice IRL too as I've met her on Cathe roadtrips).

WOW - thanks for that link, Kathy. I'm not 'quite' as disciplined as Gayle seems to be, but I think I'll give it a shot. She looks amazing! I might check out the check-in, too.

Congrats on your results, too!
