I've never participated, but I plan on mailing out shortly sometime around the 1st of December. How does priority shipping work? I'm thinking I may use that because it might be...heavy

I'm planning on using a flat-rate box myself.

I think I'll be using a flat rate box, also. I don't want to send anything by media mail near the holidays. I'd be too worried about it taking too long to arrive.
I'll pick up the box this week. I hope everything will fit!

bubbles, they have various sizes of the priority mail boxes. I hope I can use a medium sized one, which I think is $9.95 or $10.95 to ship.

My box is packed and sitting in my closet, all ready to go! I want to get it out of the house so badly, but will hold off on mailing it until at least the day after Thanksgiving!

Also, I just received some new holiday music and had to give it a listen! It does feel a little soon -- but it's cold and rainy right now, so it works. After the initial listen, I'll put them aside until after Thanksgiving ... or not!

Debbie, which new holiday music did you get? We have a huge collection. I should start playing it right after Thanksgiving to get the most use out of it.
It ranges from traditional to rock/pop, folk, alternative, comic (South Park Christmas , oldies and more..it's ridiculous how many we have!

I love holiday music, too, and don't mind when the stores play it early because I sing along (in my head!). lol I didn't know there was South Park Christmas music! Will have to look that one up because, dare I admit it, I like South Park. I have a few CDs, pop, oldies, etc. Love it.

Sherry, do you have Leslie Sansone's Christmas CD? I was wondering what that would be like.

Jo, to be honest I haven't listed to it myself, but my dh thinks it is hysterical!
It is called Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics. It came out in 1999.

I don't have Leslie's Christmas cd. Is that a walk set to Xmas music?

One of my favorite Christmas cds is by the Lovemongers, which is a side band of Ann and Nancy Wilson from the band Heart. It is mainly songs they wrote themselves for the holidays, with a few cover versions. I also really enjoy Loreena McKennitt's Xmas cds, and a compilation cd that is all British artists such as Queen and Elton John.

I'm sorry for going so off topic

I love offbeat stuff as well as traditional! One of my favs is Reggae Christmas; I had it on cassette tape for years and got it on CD just four years ago - yay!

Last year, I bought Holiday Spirits Christmas Cheers by Straight No Chaser.

This year's additional are Jayee Papa Noel, and Talj el Milad by Wafic. I think it's kinda cool to hear traditional Christmas songs sung in Arabic!

PS - I'll have to check out South Park next year!

DH is home for lunch, and we were all sitting at the table eating and I mentioned there is a South Park Christmas CD. My sweet, innocent teenaged son broke out in song, "Mr. Hanky, the Christmas ___" If you know who Mr. Hanky is, you know what that blank word is. On second thought, I'll wait until he goes off to college to get this. Then I can listen before he returns home and be nostalgic. lol

Thanks for the recomendations. Love Heart, didn't know they had a side band. Off to check Amazon!
