I'm sad I didn't click with CLX. I'm getting ready to post it and P90X2 on the trade list.

I have had CLX 2x and sold it. I like the workout, but the instructor not so much.

Even though STS does seem to have a lot of equipment, I think it is well worth it because it is such an awesome program. I was very very skeptical and did not purchase it until it had already been out awhile. Also, i am rotation adverse and got through STS with no problem. I attempted to get through CLX once and never finished the rotation, I have restarted and am almost done with the first phase. I feel that STS is more thorough, CLX does seem to focus a lot on the shoulder work. I also love Cathe's trisets workout. Every time I do that workout my body is talking to me the next day!!

Just thought of another - Cathe's Pyramids might be an option.

Venus Index

You might like to try Venus Index if you don't mind the fact the workouts are downloads that need to be run off (unless you want it use it on a laptop.) I'm on week 4 of VI phase 2 and just loving it. I'm a big fan of CLX and was very happy with the results I got from it but I think I prefer VI2. I find it a harder workout but with simpler moves than CLX. I don't miss working out to a DVD at all either and I think I'm actually pushing myself harder and using heavier weight being my own coach rather than following along to an instructor.

Holly - how long are each workouts typically? Debbie mentions they run a little longer. Realistically I only have 30 min to work out. I could on certain days modify, doing 30 min before work and then finishing when I get home from work. I just know I won't get up any earlier in the morning. TIA
Also, what do you like better about VI vs CLX? I have loved CLX for years, but lately really feel dread with thinking about doing it. I just tried Cathe's trisets this morning and I didn't like it. I think my Cathe days are long over....
