Zombies, Run App?
Has anyone tried this app yet?
Zombies, Run It looks really cool, but its not available for Android yet, so I have to wait. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if it is as fun as it looks. |

What a great idea!
I really want to do one of those Run for Your Lives races too, but they haven't organized one near me yet. The Florida one is right where my mom lives but that's a long way to go for a 5K, even a cool one

Does anybody have the app yet? I don't know really what it does. I had thought originally the zombies would get louder as you slowed down, but I see on the reviews, that's not the case.
It's not just growling noises that have no relationship to your run, is it? (I naturally make my own terrible growling, panting noises when I run, so maybe I can save $8....)

Decloaking to say I have it and LOVE it!
The mission storylines interweave with your phone's running playlist, so at song breaks, you get info and updates over the comms channel, and warnings about when zombies are near. There is currently a 22-mission storyline (as of this moment, it's version 1.1), so you're not running the same mission over and over. If you have the random zombie chase option on, there are warnings that sometimes break into your song and tell you that you need to pick up the pace. Built-in intervals! |
