Barre, Ellen, and some equipment. Whichever you have room for or interest in: treadmill, rebounder.

Offer to let your creepy downstairs neighbor pay for your gym membership.

I'll often use a piece of foam tile to set my kettlebells down on (like a piece of puzzle mat or a gardening knee pad). That said, if the neighbour is so bad that it's affecting your health, you should move.

What about floor work, like Ellen's Fusion Floor and Tonique Mat/Energy Mat?

(I lol'ed at Marmact's comment about jumping around on purpose. Too funny.)

Carla, are you still living in this same building?

Kettlebells and sliding-type workouts would be good choices. Not Turbo Fire.

I think a treadmill would be quite noisy, rebounder moderately so.
The final suggestion is pretty good!

I say kettlebells would be your quietest cardio. Or a stationary bike...

that's the (or one of the) threads i was talking about! i didn't realize it was most likely the same neighbor from hell! in that thread last we heard carla was told she'd done everything she reasonably could.... so it sounds like cranky dude is just going to have to deal with it!

Les Mills Combat is a great low impact workout. Even though there are some shuffles and jacks the workout has a modifier showing low impact modifications.

Yes, but you know what, after the panic I never heard from the ceiling banger again. It was just the once. I do need to get some of that backbone back that I had then, though. His car's not out there right now, and I'm thinking something old school like Firm BSS1 would be good. BSS1 Cardio Sculpt was the first workout I ever did. Awwww.

Someone I know has a sound absorbing large black exercise mat on the floor. I somehow don't believe it could actually work which is why I never invested in one.

I have not gotten to use my Dream Body and alot of other workouts for the same reason. Don't if my neighbor is so cranky or if sound just carries in my building.

could you put your sofa cushion down and put your weights down on that? Buy a roomful of puzzle mats.
i think Beach Body Rev Abs has so little impact or any kickbox workout really but seriously any workout is going to have movement, and from 30 minutes to an hour.
floorwork?
good luck. It is tough to be nervous in your own place and have to live on eggshells.
good luck
