Another Georgia girl here! I'm laughing at the tractor butt. I did NOT google it. I don't want any brain stains.

My goal in 2017 is to hopefully do exactly what I did in 2016! (So in 2017 I won't be changing anything)

In 2016, I did not google tractor butt. In 2017, I plan to continue this practice.

OK, that doesn't really answer the question. In the last months of 2016, I've settled in on shorter workouts coupled with shorter yoga, and I really like that routine. So in 2017, I won't be doing many hour-long workouts.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for the OP as I plan to continue with what I've been doing, but I had to say that this made me laugh really hard!!

What I'm not doing in 2017 that I did this year.

I'm NOT going to worry about "losing weight" Forget it.

I'm going to focus on getting fit. I'm going to train to get fit. To run longer, and faster. To deadlift a heavier weight. To manage a handstand pushup. To manage pullups.

I want to be that fit person and to hell with being skinny or only working out to see"results" I will train to be a fitter version of myself.

LOL, I didn't google "tractor butt" either.

I think in general I'm going to do what I did this year - which was a mix of Jessica Smith's workouts, CS/Essentrics (although not as much as in past years), Yoga, some Pilates, etc. I do mix in some other instructors besides Jessica, but she tends to be one I return to all the time.

I always have some yoga, CS/Essentrics or Pilates in the mix - I sometimes focus on one more than the other, but in general, I keep them in play throughout the year.

For the new year I plan to try some of Gilad's workouts and also Erin Motz's Perfect Body Yoga program which I caved on and bought at the 11th hour of her Cyber Monday/Black Friday sale.

I did learn this year that regular yoga makes me a lot calmer and less anxious.

Donna

I realized I answered the question wrong! I guess there is nothing I did this year that I'm not going to do next year! LOL!

I'm still not sure what that is, but it sounds awful, doesn't it?

Question

I don't plan to do any barre in 2017, so my butt is safe from being tractorized.

I kind of just do what I feel like, and I do plan to keep doing that. I WILL keep dancing and doing dancey workouts and procuring them wherever I can. I also would like to have more fun and keep growing.

I think tractor butt is the wide kind as well and with a certain definition that might be boxy or something. I seem to remember Firm threads about this in the day and will say doing only the Firm gave me a similar butt which I don't have anymore. It's a little more rounded now.
