Help me identify this tubing gadget

I was going through my workout room closet and found these.........whatever they are. They look like tubing, but how do they work? I can't for the life of me figure out where I got them. They were probably part of some system. Anyone?

Thanks! I have that set. It's been ages since I used it, and I don't remember using that tubing. I must have used something else.

the same bands are used with Leslie's "Walk Eat Lose" system, and she called them "Booster Cables."

Interesting. I think I have that system, too. I wonder where the other set of bands are. (A testimony to my cluttered workout room closet. )

You, too, are the consummate vidiot, but I've known that about you for years.

It looks like those could be used for Taebo workouts that use the bands. You attach the adjustable part around your foot, right?

hear, hear!! another vidiocy story was trying to get the "advanced resistance" bands promised by Beachbody. they sent me the "standard/beginner" bands 2-3 times before i almost gave up. eventually, i think i got the advanced bands.... i can't remember! so i probably have several sets of these floating around.

and as further testament to my vidiocy, i also studied the possibility of using the "Billy Bands" but they weren't sold separately or something. as it turned out, the Body Gospel/Booster Cable bands deteriorated within a short period (as compared to say, Lifeline/Beachbody bands).

I seem to remember looking at them when I got the Body Gospel system and decided to use my regular bands. If we hadn't moved (and I hadn't purged tons of stuff), I'd still have them.
