Simply Fit Board?

Hey all,

Someone passed this along to me, thinking I would like it. I'm thinking it looks like a back (or other) injury waiting to happen, or maybe it's fun, I don't know.

Does anyone have this? Any thoughts?

I ordered one after seeing it on Shark Tank, because my current balance board does not work on carpet and my fitness room is carpeted - plus I want to twist! It will be delivered Tuesday.
FYI it will be on QVC tonight at 8pm EST. I bought mine direct from seller because they keep selling out on QVC and waitlist took months to ship.

Oh, didn't know it was on Shark Tank (I never watch anything like those shows). Perhaps that's where my friend saw it first, as I know she ordered it quite a while ago.

Interested to hear your thoughts when it does arrive

I just ordered from QVC. I've wanted a balance board since I stopped going to pt for my ankle. Cant wait to incorporate it into my workouts. Happy Valentines Day to me!!!

On the injury front, my ankle was extremely weak when I got on one (not this one) at pt and I didnt have any problems. However, I would be concerned about someone doing all that twisting as their only form of exercise.

Good info on the ankle, thank you! And yes, I too would wonder about all that twisting...particularly for wonky backs and the like...

Oh my goodness, I am such a pushover, lol. I just pre-ordered from QVC and it's supposed to ship 3/10/16. I got the magenta because it's such a bright happy color, lol!

Kathy

Edited to add: I intend to use a medicine ball or my Firm Zip Trainer to add some upper body resistance.

Looks interesting! If anyone still has the old Firm Wave, I think it would feel similar, although a lot bulkier.

I was thinking the same! I got it I think last year (?) for around $10 and free shipping, and I have a twist board, so I guess I'm all covered. But, I agree it looks pretty cool and less bulky.

I have a Firm Wave and that can only go side to side not forward and back or diagonal like a balance board. I'm not sure one could easily twist on it?

I also ordered the magenta. Here is their YouTube channel with a bunch of free workouts.

Mine arrived today. It is thicker than I expected and seems rather sturdy. I tried it (in socks) on our upstairs carpet and the downstairs firmer woven carpet and it was easy to rock side to side and back and forth, without sliding all over the place like my regular balance board does. I won't be able to use it for some of my PT exercises though - just isn't the same as a regular balance board - can't use only one foot on it, but it will still get a lot of use.
Twisting was easy, though harder to do on the plusher carpet. It did not hurt my back or knees, but I only did it for about 5 minutes. I did buy a small carpet square to use under it so not to wear out our carpet, but didn't get a chance to try that yet.
Look forward to using it in workouts and just twisting to music or while watching TV!
