I don't think a power tower is needed since someone is showing modifications but the price is pretty steep..I thought $15 shipping was expensive and now this is 20 something dollars...I want to hold back because of the price too. I wish I got that $40 coupon but back then I thought that coupon was for the equipment and DVDs...arrrg
Hey Kim I just noticed that your message was edited on the Beachbody boards!!??! weird..you got me wondering what you said...lol

They are showing modifications. However, it seems the power tower or pull-up is an important piece of equipment for maximum results.

For those worried about customer service, they have been top notch at handling p90x. I got an e-mail from Amber the day they were supposed to be delivered, and was asked to notify her of any shipment problems if they occured. It arrived right on schedule. There was also a problem with page 19/20 missing out of some of the nutrition guides, and she e-mailed all of us to check our guides,so that she could replace the missing page. Mine was O.K., but a few people had 2 of 17/18, and no 19/20. Check your guides when you get them.
I placed an order last summer, and my order was lost, but I still got the ebates discount. Go figure. I had to go to Amber to get my order. As far as the pull-up bar, you can modify with a band in the beginning. One guy uses the band for the whole workout. I for one cannot do one pull-up, but will probably get a chin-up bar when I get stronger. The one Tony shows in the instructional DVD looks nice, but it is not available on the beach body site yet. I am curious to see how much that one will cost. Patty |
