Fun Friday Thread - your favorite instructor's intros

I was thinking last night of how we settle into starting our workout and how some of the instructors always start the same way.

"Hi, I'm Ellen Barret!"

"Please come to your mat. We're going to begin in easy pose, spine straight, neck held back slightly like a soldier at attention."

"Hi, I'm Margaret Richard. Please join me on this GLOR! ious day! We're going to have a great workout."

What are your faves?

I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but it's certainly memorable and that's "Welcome to the Firm!"

I'll try to come back with some more.

Kelly Coffey-Meyer says "Let's Go!"

Kari Anderson says in the introduction to Go, "I like to keep 'I can't' out of our vocabulary."

Being a Texan, my favorite welcome is Smriti's (Pilates Nest) frequent welcome of - "Hi y'all!"

I also love a good sign-off and really dig the old FIRMs that happen to have the instructor not only flashing a huge grin and saying what a "great workout" that was but then doing a little jump or dance that gets freeze-framed in midair.

I still get fired up when I hear Shaun T say "C'mon y'all, let's GOOOOO!!" before the Insanity workouts.

Yep, the Firm intro is definitely memorable. It was the Firm that got me into fitness so whenever I hear the old intro it makes me smile!

I always start nodding and smiling when Kelly Coffey Meyer says something like, "Are you ready to start here? Well, I'm ready" (in Start Here, of course). I think I know the warm-up by heart now.

And I still like Jari's "Welcome to your Ripped workout. Let me introduce the Rippers to you."
