Shift Shop reminds me of Insanity. I have reached the point where I am taking the intensity level down from those types of workouts for fear of getting injured.

Youv2 also made me think of Richard Simmons. I am sure there are a lot of people that will enjoy and benefit from it.

Just musing:
I don't know if I feel "Yay!" that BB is finally putting out a program that appears truly accessible to the plus-sized crowd...or a little annoyed they feel they have to make it some over-the-top, bizarre-o workout to catch our attention and get us moving.

Perhaps, with the "disappearance" of Richard Simmons, they saw a niche and jumped in to fill it. But I'm not digging Leandro.

Agreed Alison. I've never been a Leandro fan but he's waaay over the top in this. There's only one Richard Simmons after all, don't even bother trying to emulate or 'channel' him.

ETA - Happy to see the women looking radiant and having fun, though!

ETAA - Prefer Richard's campy 'street' sets and inclusion of men and varied sizes, including slim people, some of whom had already lost a lot of weight. And of course the ending dance where we saw how much weight the dancers had lost. Very inspirational!

I wonder what they mean by starting out "easy". I kinda like the look of the shift shop bc I like workouts like that, but I don't want to buy a system where I won't use half of the workouts bc they're too "easy". I have workouts that are easy for recovery days or days that I just want to take a notch or two, but I don't want those kind of workouts in a system. Anywho, I'm on the fence about this one.

You v2 is just really cheesy looking to me. I'm sure there will be plenty of people that like it, but it just seems like they're trying too hard on this one. All that woohooing will probably drive me crazy

Those look ... interesting. Neither looks really my cup of tea. But since I will get access to them on Beachbody On Demand, I am sure I will give them a try at least.

Thanks for posting!

I'm not interested in either. I wish Beachbody could find the middle ground between high intensity and low intensity.

I couldn't agree with you more!!!! I'd love to have another program like Turbo Jam that is fun but also gives a good sweat.

I did notice that you can stream Beachbody on demand through Amazon video now-that will make it more convenient for a lot of people to use it on their tv.

Sherry

I just looked it up and it looks like you can stream through Amazon Fire Tv. I am sorry for any confusion.

I went immediately over there and found out it doesn't work with Apple. Android will work with it. Bummer.
