Cutting out week four of Push phase in CLX

Hi everyone! I have a quick question for those that have completed or are still doing CLX. I'm on my third week of Push. I gained a couple of pounds in this phase and I'm anxious to start on Lean. Can I skip week four of Push or finish it and then move onto Lean. Push has really helped with the definition of my upper body, but my lower body needs more work. It seems like Lean is the phase that you start seeing the results. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Glenda. My goal for the Push phase was to do dumbbell chest presses with a pair of 40 lb. dumbbells. I reached that goal my second week, so I decided to do only 3 weeks for this phase, too. I did an active rest week for week 4 and then moved on to the Lean phase. For me, the Lean phase is where the real changes started to occur, and the maintenance phase was just icing on the cake.

Ahh Debbie, I knew you would answer my question! I was just over at the checkin with another question for you. (LOL) Anyways, I think I might cut week four of Push. I would like to know want others think though.

I'm shortening each phase to 3 weeks and doing AWT style workouts the 4th week. I am doing AWT this week and then will be on to 3 weeks of Push. I feel like it is a good plan.

Yes, I also shortened all three phases to three weeks. Seemed like overkill and I was bored... I doubt it made a huge difference.
