Unweighted Upper Body Workouts -- Compiling a List!

Hi all!

I've decided to give my chronically achy elbow a rest for the month of October and do just unweighted workouts for the upper body.

Here's my list of workouts I know of with unweighted upper body segments. I'd appreciate knowing about any others out there. I'm not looking for workouts using body weight (like lots of push-ups or triceps dips) although just a few would be okay. Workouts featuring planks would be okay too.

Workouts With Unweighted Upper Body Sections:

Classical Stretch/Essentrics
Tracy Anderson Mat Workout
10 Minute Solution Pilates On the Ball -- Lara Hudson
Straight Up Stick -- Gin Miller
Balanceball Upper Body -- Suzanne Deason
Balanceball Core Cross Train -- Tanja Djelevic

Thanks!

Sandra

Just put on some rockin' music and alternate between various types of push-ups and chin-ups/pull-ups.

Tony Hortons P09 Masters (I think) has a body-weight-only workout).
Adam Ford has a no-weights upper body workout using a stability ball (with some unique ways of working the back and biceps using body resistance and different moves on the ball).

ETA: oops! I see you aren't looking for body-weight exercises (though I can't imagine an upper-body workout without either weights or body weight used as resistance. Are you looking for stretching workouts?)

I'm a huge fan of flow coach Scott Sonnon. These guys, Adam Steer and Ryan Murdock, are affiliated with Coach Sonnon and circular strength training. They have a site dedicated to bodyweight training and offer free ebooks and video downloadable training material. http://www.bodyweightcoach.com/

The strength half of Gilad's 45/45 split has unweighted upperbody work - in fact, I am pretty sure all the upperbody work is unweighted.

Hi -- thank you all for your replies so far! You've mentioned ones I didn't know about, plus a few I did know of but forgot.

I also remembered one more: Fight Age With Strength with Margaret Richard.

I'm specifically looking for upper body workouts that would not unduly stress my elbow. Band exercises might be an option, although I think it would depend on how they are used. For example, standing on one end of a band and doing a biceps curl with the other end would be an example of the kind of exercise I'm trying to avoid.

I appreciate the input -- if anyone else has suggestions please keep 'em coming!

Ruah Release has a short arm segment, plus lots of downdogs and planks.
Editing to add Jill Miller's shoulder one (can't remember exact name).

Jill Miller's is Yoga Link Shoulder Shape Up, and it's terrific! So many moves I'd not seen before and I really feel worked after it. It's available on netflix to try before you buy. She's also got ones for core and hips -- I'm trying both of those as soon as netflix gets them here.....

One of the early Tony Horton's has an unweighted upper body workout. It's either Power Half Hour or Great Body Guaranteed, I think. Sorry I don't have more info.
