If you can follow written programs, try googling for Jim Wendlers' 5/3/1 program. He has an ebook that I think is about $25. A lot of folks are using it with their CrossFit workouts, to gain strength and muscle mass. I tried it for a few months. It's doable, easy to implement, and I think you'll find the results you're looking for.
