I’m looking forward to getting these. I think the recognizable music is going to make these stand out. Wish more instructors used good music.

I got my set today and did the 60’s DVD. With warm up and cool down it ran 55 minutes. The music for the warm up and cool down were vocals that I did not recognize. The music for the three 15-minute sections were approx. 5-minute cover songs bookending a 60’s sounding instrumental. The songs were:

Section 1:

Great Balls of Fire
Instrumental
Respect

Section 2:

Chain of Fools
Instrumental
Proud Mary

Section 3:

Twist Again
Instrumental
Do You Love Me

I like Gina and loved the music and most of the choreography. I did not care for the set at all and for those who don’t like chatty instructors, Gina does talk nonstop throughout and although the music WAS loud, I could hear her quite well. Her base move through the entire workout was walking front for 4 with a tap and walking back for four. She does this A LOT through all three sections. It could deal with it on this one DVD, but it might bother me if it’s repeated a lot on all the DVDS.

As promised, I got over 6,000 steps during the workout.

I wish Gina would do a workout set with a "Soul Train" vibe. I would get that in a heartbeat! I think she's done something on YouTube that I will have to check out. Anyone know if the 70's Decade track cover songs have anything like this? My guess is that it's more classic rock songs.

So I just finished the 70’s DVD.

Section 1:

You’re the One That I Want
Instrumental
That’s the Way (I Like It)

Section 2:

You Should Be Dancing
Song with vocals, but I did not recognize it
Lady Marmalade

Section 3:

Stayin’ Alive
Instrumental
I Will Survive

Still like Gina and love the music - more fast paced than her Dance Walk series.
Still hate the set and the repetitive four steps forward and four steps back - there are A LOT of them on this DVD, too.

Hi,

I have only done the '60's DVD - I broke it up over two days - I did two segments one day and the third the next day.

I agree w/ Gams - music is good and fun but the negative is I felt that the choreography was pretty much the same throughout the three segments I did. On the one hand, that is probably what makes these faster paced than Gina's other Dance that Walk DVDs, but it also makes them more boring. And, i know it is crazy to complain about it b/c I have quite a collection of Leslie's walking workouts and she tends to do the same type of choreography over and over again - but I was just expecting a little more from these in terms of variety of movement.

I still generally prefer Gina's You Tube walks to these!

But, these will still get some use as I try to up my step count while working from home, so I can see throwing a segment or two in here and there throughout the day - they are fun and no dread at all.
