Alice Bracegirdle (belly fit) course on Daily Om

I’m your first Guinea pig, lol, I was hooked at 20 min as I love short workouts. I’ll let you know, might do one this afternoon.

ETA In spite of my frustrations with all the BellyFit workout delays, I do like Alice. She has a lovely vibe in person, I’ve done a live class with her. Plus I’m always up to support a local business.

Thanks, Pam! Please post your thoughts. I hope she does not use that plain white room for the set. I really preferred her setting from her Facebook live classes.

I think they send one workout a day for ten days.

20 minutes does sound interesting though.

Pat, it is a one time fee for all the classes. You pay what you can afford, but I think the lowest option is $15.00. They send you one class a day for 10 days. The classes are yours to stream. You create a log in. They are not offering downloads.

So....I did lesson one, it was 22.5 min and I really liked it! I’m a big fan of short workouts. The set is the same one she used in her zoom workouts, a nice bright room, likely in her home, with a hardwood floor, windows, plants on a nice stand in the background, very nice.

It’s called “Embody & Activate: Awakening the Shakti Within”. Here’s a breakdown, it’s nothing new but pleasant & low impact, typical BF moves. The seated warm up had a KY feel to it.

Seated:
~Short meditation
~Torso circles
~Sway side to side with feet in butterfly pose

Standing:
~Goddess pose was the starting point for most of the moves. I believe she repeated the following sequence 3 times, might have been 4, can’t remember.
~Shakti rise
~Flowing goddess
~Easy slide
~Solar power
~Serpent power
~Earth warrior
~Embody & activate

Then back to the floor:
~Wide leg child’s pose, swaying side to side
~Seated twist

The music is okay, nothing overly special, zen instrumentals with some soft drumming.
