I saw these at the Wal-mart close to my work and almost bought them, but then decided I will wait until this weekend, when I can drive to the Wal-Mart closer to my house. Even though I live in NY, the Wal-Mart closest to me is in PA and tax is cheaper in PA

Bought the set today ($9.98 plus tax) and the cashier said they weren't displayed before today so good timing.

I'm alittle disappointed in the booties which are on the small side and not that much more slippery than regular socks on my rug but I do like the hand/knee pads and can even use them for the feet. Checked just one dvd and the instructor didn't annoy me and the music was decent so will probably keep it. It looked more like an interactive demonstration than a real workout or class.

I have gliding disks which move easier on the rug but aren't comfortable without shoes. Unfortunately, all areas in our home are carpeted, even the basement.

I thought that too about the booties. All of my rooms are carpeted except the kitchen and bathroom. I tested them on the kitchen floor and they worked like they are supposed too. But, I'm almost certain I don't want to workout in the kitchen...lol

I've been wanting the workouts since they came out so its not a total loss.

Maybe I'm just moody today, but the woman with the black wig looking hair just drove me nuts with her chattering on Booty Blast. Sigh. I couldn't help but feel like she was a Jillian wanna be. But that could be my moodyme
I'm previewing the Cardio one now. Hopeful.

I'm glad when these came out a long time ago I waited. I have Cathe's LIS Slide and Glide and it looks like I can do without the Booty Slides. That's always a good thing.

What would be better to get Cathe's slides or valslide?
I want to get the full effect of these workouts and the booties won't work on my carpet.

30 Minute Booty Slide Infomercial

I thought there was just a 2 min commercial between tv shows. However, there was an actual 30 min informercial that I had never seen. Have to admit that Rebecca's voice drove me a little crazy. I am a little curious about this set but if the booties don't work well on carpet, not sure if I really want it. Will check out Walmart on Sat

Try using the hand/knee pads on carpet instead of the booties.
They worked as well as gliding disks barefooted and more comfortable.
