I also hate the belt and found it slides a lot- twisting as well as up and down. I didn't find the challenge factor to be all that great even with knots and the bands were a lot longer than they needed to be fore my arm length, I'm 5'4. I never use the belt and either sub in another booster or just do it without.

I had one of those and liked it!
SpiritSong ~ If you like Leslie's ab belt and eventually want to upgrade, I'd recommend the Power Belt!

I have the belt and even purchased extra resistance tubes for mine as I felt that the ones (yellow) that came with the belt weren't really giving me enough resistance, even after putting knots in it like Leslie does!
I like it and for me it actually really does remind me more to 'pull the tummy in' but my problem is my shoulders. With any kind of resistance band I get inflamed shoulder joints quickly -at least when I use it too much/too often.. So it's been a while that I used the belt..
The Advanced 5 mile walk is awesome, already for the mile 2 & 4 which are the fastest ones on the disc!

I hope you'll be able to get a good idea of whether you like the belt or not! How nice of the other VFer! (That's why I love this board, so many generous and kind people here! )
