[QUOTE=IrishOT;1891769]Adrien, was it $40 at Target also?
I don't live super close to a Target, but if it is cheaper, I will wait and try to get it there. TIA![QUOTE]
I ordered this via the Walmart website, and got it on Friday -site to store.
I previewed Weeks 1-4 so far, and I think these are the perfect build-up or prep workouts for Insanity. The moves are similar but there are modifiers given, it just feels more "do-able."
I totally agree that X-factor: ST is a much more doable version of insanity.
I tried insanity after completing a round of P90X and insanity ended up having a very high dread factor for me. But with X-factor: ST, I look forward to the workouts as they are tough but also a whole lot of fun.
It does have music, it also has a music off option.
I would describe the music as modern rock muzak-ish.
Drum and bass with a little grunge guitar thrown in for good measure, but muzak / synthesized style. The music blends into the background and is never over-powering, the beat goes with the intensity of the workout. I am picky about this sort of thing and the music is not a distraction or obnoxious at all. It is just sort of there and driving where it needs to be to help push you through the workout.
I read your review last night and R A N to Target this morning to get it for DH. This is exactly the kind of workouts he likes (me too, but this is really for him). Thanks!
