Lightbulb Using gliding disks w/your walking workouts?

I was just perusing ms Mary's lengthy sale list and came across this one I hadn't seen before:

I gave the clip a looksee...

not a terribly exciting workout out but it got me wondering if adding Gliding Disks would be a fun way to add variety to walking workouts?

There are so many ways to "modify up" on walking workouts. That is one that hadn't occurred to me. I using my gliding disks and it might help spice up some of those workouts. I also use my Fitstix and hold weights, so this would be a third way.

Laura I also like using my fitstix now with these
...just another distraction to keep me going for an extra 'mile'
and helps keep my heart rate up a bit w/o impact

I'll hafta give the disks a try...lemmie know what u think if you try it....

I would have really liked this if they had used different music.
I'm in my 60's and Oldies or early Rock N' Roll would have been a much better choice IMHO. I never liked my parents' music.
Cannot imagine too many people in their 80's and upwards using gliding disks?

BUT... I will be experimenting with glidiing disks more now since my knees love them. Recently I have been using them when sitting thanks to an online workout.
Already am a huge Fitstix fan, especially on the rebounder.
