Our son is into vinyl & has a new turntable. He prefers vintage albums when he can find them in good condition, but buys new ones too. I have found him some good ones at thrift stores.

Patrick Goudeau CIA 9001. I have not one but two VHS copies. And 3 players I also have G-Force and Charlene Prickett on VHS.

I recently obtained this workout and understand your love of it. I have not yet mastered it, but am having fun doing so.

I do wonder if it's going to work since it won't transfer copyrighted material.

Hopefully this means that it will take another 10 years for them to stop producing dvd players

So sad - I have about 40 VHS that I still occasionally do. Be kind and rewind. RIP VCRs.

I don't think Cher's workouts were released on DVD and they are among my favorites. A few years ago I bought a combo player that will allow me to record from VHS to DVD. I have never tried it but now I think I better get it done. Hubby pointed out that they will look horrible on the HD TVs. That's why we unhooked the VCR upstairs, bc he refused to watch them anymore with that poor quality. Bad quality is better to me than not being able to watch/do them at all!
Cher's workouts are available on DVD in Europe in Pal region 2 format if you have a multi region DVD player, for instance at Amazon.co.uk: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...er+fitness+dvd

I have a combo player (not region-free unfortunately), and never knew it would allow me to transfer VHS to DVD. I should look into this, as I still have retro and offbeat workouts that never came out on DVD. I'm tempted to buy another dvd player or two while we can still get dvd players.

ETA: Some other VHS workouts which made it to DVD abroad (Pal region 2) but not here I don't think, include: Elle Macpherson's program (renamed "The Body Workout"), plus the workouts that Claudia Schiffer and Susan Powter did.

I have several back up vcrs.
However, I forgot to get the remotes for the last two found at a garage sale!
At least one of them is put to good use being an adapter for my surround sound system and still plays a VHS in my basement workout area.

I had converted dozens of VHS into files with a dongle device and shared them on youtube
but I lost a lot of the converted VHS files when youtube deleted my account.
I did not back them all up on dvdrs because I still could use my VHS.
Just wanted to make them available for people who no longer had a vcr.
I lost interest in converting them after that.
