favorite Cathe warmup

I just did low impact cardio supersets. I really enjoy the warmup here, and how it flows so easily from one move to another. Not too short, not too long. And as I get older, I increasingly realize how important the warmups are.

Any favorites?

Oh I am so glad you asked this! I love these warmups for different reasons:
  • Pyramid Upper- nice thorough
  • Supersets from Body blast series - fun!
  • Legs and glutes from Body blast series - efficient
  • Cardio fusion (but not sure which workout that one is from?)
  • Tabatacise - goes by quick and thorough
  • Classics 1 Step Jam and Step Heat - so fun!
  • Xtrain bi/tri -kickboxy fun
  • Xtrain Legs -thorough
  • Great glutes- vigorous thorough
  • Lean legs and abs- love

X10 has always been one of my favorite warm-ups. It’s around 8 minutes.

I like to do a Cathe warmup when I'm doing something like weights on my own. Making a list is a good idea because some of them are hard! If I remember correctly, I need a warmup to do the Legs & Glutes warmup!

The warm-up for Maximum Intensity Strength (MIS). It is the only step routine of Cathe's that was easy for me to learn.

Butts and Guts is a fun one - she uses the (big) ball throughout and there are lots of fun moves.

I keep wishing for an as-intense Butts and Guts follow-up. I've been working with Cathe for over 20 years (gosh I am old), and still find this to be one of her best. The warm-up is one of the most unique and it is fun!
