I like JLJBackToClassic.com.
She mainly focuses on fashion but touches on beauty once in awhile.

I also like Jenifer Jenkins.
She's only in her mid 40s but I like her approach to health and beauty. Most of her recommendations are inexpensive except for tretinoin. She doesn't chase after every new makeup product and face cream like most youtubers.

This is an unconventional recommendation because it's a slapstick comedy beauty channel. I mostly watch it for entertainment but sometimes she uploads a REAL beauty video that's very informative. She's 49.

Thanks! I've never heard of her before. I just watched one of the recorded Q&A videos and she's good. I like her streamlined approach. Her makeup techniques are a nice solid base. She looks fantastic, especially for being 72.

When it comes to beauty, I like simplicity. I think all you need is a cleanser, moisturizer, Retin-A, and sunscreen. If you need more exfoliation, maybe a mild scrub or acid peel. Diet, exercise, sleep, stress level, and hormonal balance are also important. For more serious issues, consult a doctor instead of youtube. No cream or serum is going to turn back time, despite what many youtubers want you to buy from their affiliate links.

Completely agree! I liked Angie in the beginning, but now, not so much. I don't feel she is honest, and has probably had more procedures than we know about. Plus, she makes a lot of money off of the links, another reason why I don't feel I can trust her reviews.

I like Dr Dray, but I know she's controversial because of her eating disorder. But most of her skincare advice is still good.

Lab Muffin has great info on skincare, she's a chemist.

I like Beauty and the Bargain. She does pretty good research. I think she gets Botox, but she's up front about it.

Frugalistablog is good with recommendations, and also Geek Out Of Water.

These are the ones I tend to watch most their videos. I've learned SO much about skin care from them and I think its helped my channel get better.
