Actually, I found this on WebMD

Niacin and niacinamide are LIKELY SAFE for most people when taken by mouth. A common minor side effect of niacin is a flushing reaction.

This is interesting. I was familiar with taking orally would cause flushing but didn't realize there was a potential with it being in a cream. I just bought a new Olay eye cream. I woke way too early this morning and could not go back to sleep due to waking with a night sweat. I was doing better with the night sweats since I was drinking chamomile tea at night and then this happened this morning. Something to consider.

Diana - Interesting - I am not sure if applying it could cause flushing, I suppose it could since it is absorbed through the skin.....

I often use coconut oil and lately this all natural cream that is made locally. I make my own body butter and am going to try and dupicate this face cream when I run out.

I've been using this facial moisturizer for at least 8 years now: L'Oreal Daily Active Moisture SPF 15. It's lightweight, but moisturizes very well and costs about 7.99 for 4 oz. bottle: https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/l'oreal-paris-skin-expertise-active-daily-moisture-day-lotion/ID=prod6144830-product

At night I use it's equivalent, minus the SPF. About 6.99 for 4 oz. Both work very well.

I sure hope so. I went 4 months between and then had three, two weeks apart. Then every other month and nothing since the beginning of July.

I bet I'm not using the eye cream tonight. LOL Not even worth the risk. If there is a side effect or a possibility of one, it would happen to me. I will just use it during the day.

Have you considered using clary sage hydrosol? I got some for my Mom during these years and she used it daily. Store it in the fridge. If your skin gets dehydrated, add a little honey to the bottle. Honey is a humectant that will help stop moisture from leaving the skin and honey does not add heat to the skin.

These shops have some, although it isn't hard to find. I bought some locally. Local will always be fresher.

I can't use anything heavy or too emollient on my face or I break out - I'm 65 by the way. I like a couple of the Andalou Naturals products, specifically the Age Defying Facial Serum SPF 30 it's a very light lotion that absords quickly. I use it under makeup. At night I use the Age Deying Revitalize Serum around my eyes. I also use a Paula's Choice serum the Super Antioxidant Contentrate with Retinol.

I mostly use a natural whipped body butter made by a friend, Lindsay Makes That. You can find her on FB. Sometimes I just use coconut oil, and sometimes I use argan oil. Every once in a while I just use our Keri body lotion....
