If you have a stability ball, try doing some of your cardio while sitting and bouncing. Just make sure it is a large enough ball so you are sitting high enough not to put pressure on your knees. Sit bouncing is my Go-to whenever any of my joints start to twinge.
ETA: also try Arnica gel. It really helps my knees.
