What are your favorite fitness-related books?

Sitting here 6 months (can't believe it!) after the start of our quarantine, I'm looking at the collection of fitness books I've purchased through the years and was wondering what are your favorite fitness-related books?

I'll start -

Get Energy by Denise Austin - quick read, straight to the point, and full of useful and usable information.

There was a book published a few years ago about a middle aged woman's dream to dance in The Nutcracker production with a touring company. In it, she talks about how she used Barre3 to get in shape to try out & win a part with the ballet company. I loved it - Raising the Barre by Lauren Kessler.

I have this book and I never use it. It is a good book but I just don't reach for it. I don't actually use most of my fitness books and many of them are in a box ready to get listed on Share the wealth soon. I desperately need to de-clutter.

Another vote for Peak Performance Fitness -- I keep it on my shelf for reference as her advice is timeless and solid (from a physical therapist's perspective),

I just loved it! It was such an encouragement that it's never too late to pursue your dream.

I have several of Joyce’s books and I still use them when I want a no nonsense routine.

I also have the original Taebo book by Billy Blanks.
