Strong magazine's chair exercise workout (paper)

Strong magazine put out an article featuring a Chair workout routine with six different exercises.

The Bulgarian split squat looks very difficult - I think elevating the back leg that high would make my knees hurt.

Might be a good routine for travel when you have no access to other equipment.

Thanks for posting! I agree with you re the Bulgarian split squat - my hip flexors are too tight for a highly elevated back leg.

And if decline push-ups are too difficult, use the chair for elevated push-ups.

Thanks! Barbarian split squats, as I like to call them, are not easy. I only recently worked up to where I can hold weights.

Another chair exercise I like is the upright bird dog. These are pretty hard, too.
