I think there are bots who work through videofitness accounts and try to gain access and, if they gain it, use the PM feature to send spam. I recall there were a few people last year who had really weak passwords, and therefore had their accounts not hacked, but accessed, and people got spam PMs as a result. Don't use weak passwords and it's highly unlikely to happen. Even when it did, Wendy was on it super quickly. I don't think it's a huge concern.

Well there is a whole other thread about users being notified of someone trying to log into their accounts. I can't find the thread but it's here somewhere.

Yes, I think this is what I was referring to, I will try and make sure I have a sound password, thank you for this response.

Thank you for the nice post, it is uncomfortable being new and joining the forum. I wanted to start off with an introduction but since I was new and worried about others gaining access to members accounts , it made me a bit scared so I thought asking about it might be more reassuring. I guess all I really did was offend long time members.
