Question Best Court Shoes?

HI all,
I'm about ready to get a new pair of workout shoes and wondered what is good out there.

I need something for higher impact aerobics, step, lots of cardio with vertical and lateral movements. Running, jumping etc.
Think Body Attack, Grit Cardio, Crossfit.

I believe they are considered 'court' shoes?

Thank you thank you!

Hi Kate, I just googled it and I see court shoes are those used for volleyball and stuff, I don't know anything about those. But there are some cross training shoes that might fill the bill.

Here is a link that might be helpful for you:

10 Best Cross Training Shoes

From that list, I have the Adidas Adipure, and I love them, they're very comfy, stable (for lifting) and flexible (great for push-ups, lunges, etc.). I haven't use them for strictly cardio, but for lifting and conditioning (metabolic stuff) they are great. For cardio and high impact stuff I personally like the Ahnu Yoga Shoes, they have more cushion, great shock absorption, are flexible (great for push ups, planks and lunges as well), have great lateral support, I've done a lot of jumping in them and I have been very pleased. Check amazon reviews, that might help as well. I hope you'll find the good pair for your needs!

Thank you! I think cross trainers are more what I'm looking for. Appreciate the input!

For high impact and lateral stability I have gravitated to Rykas. http://www.ryka.com/womens-training-...opNav_Training

I have the Ryka Studio Flex (discontinued) and the Enhance Mid Top 1. If I needed new ones I would consider the Influence 2.5, Enhance MidTop 3 (or the Vida RZX for dance/pivot).

Rykas tend to have a wider toe box with a narrower heel.

I have the best luck with New Balance for high impact. That was my podiatrist’s recommendation and they’ve worked well for me. Before that, I bought ASICS, but they stopped providing sufficient cushion for me. Finding the right sneaker is so hard!
