looking for list of traditional (heavy) strength 30-40 minutes

Criteria includes:
Dumbbells only although barbell ok - no other equipment
Single exercise rather than compound
Length 30-40 minutes
Can be upper/lower split or total body
Solid, effective, traditional training where I can go heavy (for me) and keep good form - think Cathe's Power Hour
Dated doesn't bother me
Limited body weight exercises - I don't do burpees

Can you help me make a list of one's that fit? Thanks

I would add to Tugger’s list…
Cathe:
- Pyramids – you might have to sub for the step ups but otherwise you’re good with a bench and dumbbells
- Push Pull… she only uses a barbell for squats and rows so just sub dumbbells. For the step ups sub something else (more squats or something similar). She uses a ball for the very short abs work, but you could use a light dumbbell or sub something else. Main workout is like 42 minutes or so. Great premixes on the DVD, plus Supersets is on the same DVD.
- Muscle Max… use just dumbbells – barbell is not necessary. There are premixes to shorten the workout (removes the band work), plus an upper / lower premix. I usually skip the premixes when I make an upper / lower split workout and just hit the skip button. Upper body comes in around 40-45 minutes, lower only around 20-25.
- Cross Train express… legs just use dumbbells. Upper body all weights just pick 3 chapters of the 5 to build an upper body split.
- Power Hour… just use dumbbells and select the body parts you want to work.
- Maximum Intensity Strength… she uses a barbell but you could use just dumbbells. Upper body will take about 45 min. including warm up, abs and cool down.
- Body Max 2 upper body premix… no need to use the ball – just use your bench and dumbbells

Kathy Smith's Secrets to a Great Upper Body and Lower Body (separate workouts) contained on her Super Slimdown Circuit dvd.

The weight workouts in Cathe's new Ripped with Hiit set are all about 40 minutes long, though they may go a bit over with the warm ups and cooldowns. Each disc has lots of premix options to shorten the workouts. The leg workout is circuit style so may not fit your criteria.

4 Day Split also has good 30 minute weight workouts.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have quite a few of these but embarrassed to say most haven't been used. I found some info from another thread on the premises so all this will help me plan ahead and use these.
