Callanetics Studio Online
I was searching for Callanetics information and found this YouTube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiuyphw1_Eg It looks pretty fresh and modern, so I went to their website looking for more information. It looks like they will soon be offering streaming Callanetics videos. The settings (indoor and outdoor) look beautiful in this promo video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLhns...layer_embedded I've 'Liked' their Facebook page and signed up as a member on their site so that I can keep tabs on their progress / offerings. I like the looks of this! Website: http://www.thecallaneticsstudio.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-C...65786343446598

Wow! This looks good. I traded away my original Callanatics workouts b/c the 'tucking' really bothered my back. I wonder if they still focus heavily on the tucking?
I love the website and clips though and am looking forward to hearing more! Donna |

I currently take Callanetics classes and they have gotten away from the big tuck a long time ago. The current form is neutral spine and squeezing the sit bones together (a la Pilates) to tighten the pelvic floor before each exercise. The new DVD, Callanetics Evolution uses the technique and has a section where the go over the new technique. Sandra's Foundation videos on her website probably has it too...has anyone checked it out?

Lovely site, though I'll bet the classes will be taped indoors rather than on the beach. But maybe I'm wrong about that - hope so!
I also wish it weren't $20 per month. $10 would tempt me better. ETA - Wow, interesting fact: Adelaide is Sandra's son's partner.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vpeEfWa...ure%3Dyoutu.be When I signed up at their site, I started receiving daily emails with Callanetics tips. I liked these that I received today. I think they must have their videos marked as private because I don't see these on their YouTube channel...only when they send me a unique link to the video.
